Once you've picked the tool, hold a brown-bag meeting to give the team an overview on how to use it. If necessary, recruit an expert on the team to demonstrate the tool. Through pairing, the expertise will spread around the team. If no one is an expert, volunteer someone to become one. Get everyone in the habit of using it from the start. It's easy to lose momentum once the thing is installed and people get distracted by other things. You might have to remind the team about it in a daily standup. Let them see how the tool contributes to the team's success. |
