Displays the assignment of drive letters to physical partitions. The output is useful if you want to run DISKPART, FIXBOOT, or FIXMBR.
Type “MAP”, followed by the arc switch, if desired.
arc: Causes the output to use the ARC format rather than the device name format. The arc switch is preceded only by a space, not by a slash or any other punctuation mark, as shown:

The ARC name looks like the following: multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)
The device name for the same drive and partition is \Device\HardDisk0\Partition1. For more information on device names and the ARC naming convention, search the Web.
