3. Create Incentives to Motivate and Keep People through the Crisis


Uncertainty and risk must be replaced by an incentive to reach the goals of the plan and place the company on even footing. The incentive should be a cash award if at all possible. The plan should have no more than a 12-month horizon, and it should focus everyone’s efforts to reach the goal.
