DayLite is a customer relationship management (CRM) application that helps you record and track interactions with your clients and maintain their contact information. It has a built-in calendaring program to help salespeople keep track of their schedules. It is the easiest-to-set-up CRM program I've found on any platform for multiple users sharing the same data.

Unlike many CRM solutions, DayLite also lets you keep track of specific sales possibilities by entering them as "opportunities," with potential deal values and probabilities that the deal will close. Once a deal is closed, you can create a project to help you meet delivery deadlines.

The program runs on the OpenBase database engine. It can integrate e-mail from Mac OS X Mail in the DayLite database.

Why I like it: DayLite is a low-cost yet powerful CRM solution that can grow with small businesses.
