StickyBrain uses a file box/drawer metaphor to help you organize and store notes. You can create notes in StickyBrain or import text or RTF files or Apple Stickies. StickyBrain even lets you search and view notes in other applications and e-mail notes from most popular e-mail clients. It also includes some helpful reference lists in note form, such as lists of area codes and U.S. and metric weights and measures.

The software offers good integration with .Mac via a direct button on the icon bar. It also ties in with the Mac OS X Address Book and can synch with Palm devices and iPods.

The figure shows StickyBrain's main interface with one of the product's included reference lists (Emergency Preparation Checklists) in the lower pane.

Why I like it: StickyBrain lets you turn all of your notes and information into a searchable database without the hassle of creating and querying a database.
