Single File Web Page Option Doesn't Work on the Latest Netscape Version

graphics/troubleshooting_icon.jpg

I published my presentation as a Single File Web Page. I know that it isn't supported on earlier versions of Netscape, but it also can't be viewed on the most recent release. How can I make this format work?

The Single File Web Page option is only supported by Internet Explorer version 4.0 and higher. In addition, the format is only supported by Microsoft technologies and is not an industry standard. It contains Microsoft-specific metadata that will only be supported by those browser types.

Web Page Looks Nothing Like Word Document in Web View

I saved a Word file as a Web page, and the document isn't in the font I saved it as when I view it.

If the browser you view the Word as HTML file on has a preset font or the system you are viewing the content on doesn't have the selected font installed, you will not be able to view the file in your chosen font. This is one of the limits of HTML, not one of the problems of combining these two applications. There is no way to force the user to view a page in a specific font.
