Tasks Out of Control

With the history of my tasks and all existing tasks, my tasks view is out of control and simply too much to handle.

Right-click anywhere in the Tasks view screen and deselect Show History. This will remove historical links from your Tasks view and allow you to focus on what still needs to be done.

Files Published Anyway

I've set certain files as not to be published, but I'm finding them on the final site anyway.

If you assign a file as not to be published, the only program that will pay attention to the setting is FrontPage. If someone in your team is using a third-party product to FTP the site to the final destination, it will not adhere to the FrontPage Web site settings.
