Form Properties Are DisabledI am trying to configure my form, and only the Send to Other option is available. All other options are grayed out. If both the Send to Database and the Sent To File/E-mail options are disabled, chances are it's because you have disabled FrontPage browse-time Web components on the Authoring tab in Page Options. Select Tools, Page Options and click the Authoring tab. Make sure that there is a check in the Browse-time Web Components box. Form Returns Runtime Component PageI have finished configuring my form and when I preview it in the browser and submit it, I get an error on a Runtime Component Page. You must make sure that you are browsing the form on a server that has the Server Extensions installed on it. If you are sure that your server has the Server Extensions installed, recalculate hyperlinks on the Web site by selecting Tools, Recalculate Hyperlinks and try the form again. Send to Database Not AvailableI am trying to configure my form and the Send to Database option is not available. If the Send to Database option is the only option not available, it is likely because you have disabled ASP on the Authoring tab in Page Options. Select Tools, Page Options and click the Authoring tab. Make sure that there is a check in the Active Server Pages check box. Form Results Don't Appear in DatabaseI am submitting results to a database. I don't get an error, but there is nothing in the database. The first thing to check is to make sure that your form fields are mapped correctly. If they are and you still aren't having success, it is possible that the problem is caused by a permissions failure when attempting to write to the database. If you have anonymous browsing enabled on your Web site, the anonymous account on the Web server (IUSR_<machine_name> by default) doesn't have write access to the database. If you are not using anonymous access, the user who is browsing must have write access to the database. |
