A Guide to the Index
Some subentries also occur as main entries, whenever it's considered useful. Asterisks (*) denote multiple endings of similarly starting names when occurring together. Tildes (~) replace unnecessary name part repetitions, except in clear-cut enumeration cases (e.g. FirstChild and LastChild methods mentioned together become "First/LastChild" and not "FirstChild/Last~"). Commonly used acronyms are preferred to expanded forms and cross-referencing only happens when both are in common use. Identical page numbers accompanying both a main entry and its subentry indicate the presence of relevant information about the former, followed by a particular aspect of it in the latter (such as an example). Your feedback about this index is very welcome at <indexers@glasshaus.com.>
