The companion CD-ROM for Practical Java Game Programming contains all of the figures from the book, all the examples from the text, as well as additional libraries and materials as listed. In addition, we have included the Sun J2DK.
The folders contained on the CD-ROM include:
Figures: all the figures from the book by chapter
Code: examples, libraries, and materials from each chapter
Sun J2DK: the latest version of the Sun J2DK 1.4.2_04 as well as Java3D, and JOGL for Linux, MacOSX and Win32.
Go into the Installs\JDK_1_4_2_04 directory and run appropriate JDK installer for your OS.
Go into the Installs\Java3D directory and run appropriate Java3D installer for your OS.
Copy JOGL.jar to project directory. Find appropriate JOGL binaries for your OS and copy to working or lib directory.
