Appendix B. Paint Shop Pro X in a Nutshell

This book is obviously project based and I believe that's a good thing. I'd rather see a student learn to do real-world work while learning the software. The problem, though, is how does the student learn the techniques necessary to accomplish those tasks? That's what this appendix is for. I'll get you started on the techniques here, and you can explore those same techniques using your own images. As you work though the projects, and then again with your own images, you'll be reinforcing the skills you've picked up along the way. Isn't it nice how that works out? Like my mom always said, "Practice makes perfect."
