Conclusion

WS-Coordination and WS-AtomicTransaction provide the framework for enabling coordinated business processes and transactions for Web services. In addition, employing Web services for coordinating such processes simplifies the interoperability between heterogeneous platforms. Unlike most of the Web service specifications that we discuss in this book, WS-Coordination and WS- AtomicTransaction arent implemented by Microsoft Web Services Enhancements. Rather, these specifications are better designed to be implemented on top of existing coordination services. Its likely that such coordination services will be supported in a future version of Microsoft Windows.
