Changing Font Colors

You can also change the color of the text in a text box. Changing font color enables you to emphasize certain text and can add interest to your publication pages.

To change the font color for text in a text box, follow these steps:

  1. Select the text in the text box that you want to change to a different font color.

  2. graphics/fontcolor.gif Click the Font Color button on the Formatting toolbar.

  3. Select a new color from the color box that appears (if you don't see a color you like, continue with step 4).

  4. If you want to select from additional colors, click the More Colors selection in the color box. The Colors dialog box appears (see Figure 7.3).

  5. Click anywhere in the color palette to select a new color range for the text.

  6. After you've selected your new color, click OK to return to your publication.
