The SYSGEN (CISC) and SYSGENR (RISC) program is invoked by the DSM/SCM system generation application to compile the operating system.
SYSGENR uses many subsystems and configuration files to accomplish its work, and generates the OSIMAGE configuration. SYSGEN uses components that are discussed in other parts of this book. Only the components not covered elsewhere are discussed here.
BP-FILE-SYSGEN-01 SYSGENR should be secured "UUCU".
BP-OPSYS-OWNER-03 SYSGENR should be owned by SUPER.SUPER.
BP-OPSYS-FILELOC-03 SYSGENR resides in $<dsmscm>.ZGUARD.
BP-FILE-SYSGEN-02 TSC should be secured "UUCU".
BP-OPSYS-LICENSE-01 TSC should be licensed.
