Appendix D. Submitting Extensions to the Macromedia Dreamweaver Exchange
If you're interested enough in extensions to be reading this book, you're undoubtedly already familiar with Macromedia's Dreamweaver Exchange and all the extensions there. After you've written your own extension, tested it, and packaged it up, you may want to share it with other users. Submitting to the Exchange is an obvious way to do that. You can find detailed information at the Exchange on how to submit extensions and how to prepare them for submission. This appendix offers a checklist, condensed from the Exchange instructions, for testing and preparing your extensions for submission. Although the information is geared specifically toward Macromedia's requirements and advice, it's good advice regardless of how you plan to put your extension out into the world.
