| Access 2007 can export a table or the results of a query directly to a SharePoint site. If you have permission to create content on a SharePoint site, you can export data to a SharePoint list; when you do so, Access creates a copy of the selected table or query database object, and stores the copy as a list. The list content is static and will not reflect changes made to the source table or query after the export operation. You can't overwrite or add data to an existing list. In this topic, we demonstrate the process of exporting the contents of a table to a SharePoint site. 1. | In the Navigation Pane, select (but don't open) the object you want to export.
Tip You can export only one object at a time. However, when exporting a table, Access also exports all related tables. | 2. | On the External Data tab, in the Export group, click the SharePoint List button.
  | 3. | In the Export SharePoint Site wizard, specify the SharePoint site where you want to create the list, change the list name and type a description if you want, and then click OK. Enter your SharePoint site credentials if prompted to do so.
Access creates and opens the list on the SharePoint site. If the SharePoint site already includes a list of the same name as the one you are exporting, you are prompted to specify a different name for the new list.
Troubleshooting You might need to switch to the SharePoint site by clicking its taskbar button. In the resultant SharePoint list, the data type selected for each column is based on the corresponding source field. Any errors or explanations about limited functionality appear at the bottom of the list.
 | 4. | In the Export SharePoint Site wizard, if you plan to repeat the export operation in the future, select the Save export steps check box.
| 5. | If you want to be reminded to perform the operation at fixed intervals, such as weekly or monthly, select the Create Outlook Task check box.
Saved export operations appear in the Navigation Pane.
