Testing Your SSO Configuration

To test an SSO configuration, create a simple J2EE application with a protected servlet and a Domino database with an ACL granting access only to certain users in the LDAP directory. Deploy the J2EE application to a WAS server (or to a WTE server) and map the security role to the same set of users permitted to the Domino database. Via a browser, attempt to access the servlet and authenticate with one of the user names in the LDAP directory. Then access the Domino database URL. You should not be prompted to re-authenticate on the database request. After closing the browser (to clear the cached name and password and LTPA token), try the access in the reverse order, Domino database and then servlet. This time you should not be prompted to re-authenticate for the servlet request.
