About the Authors

     

John P. Lamb is currently a Senior Technical Staff Member for IBM in White Plains, New York. His work includes architecture and design for IBM Web services for several companies including the New York Stock Exchange and several large banks. Service offerings to corporations for collaboration services using products from Lotus, such as Web conferencing, instant messaging, and Web teamrooms, have recently become another focal area. John holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, M.S. degrees from the University of Utah and Pace University, and a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a senior member of the IEEE and ASME engineering societies . He has published more than 40 technical papers and has previously co- authored three books, Lotus Notes Network Design (published by McGraw-Hill, 1996), Lotus Notes and Domino Network Design (published by McGraw-Hill, 1997), and Lotus Notes and Domino 5 Scalable Network Design (published by McGraw-Hill, 1999). John is a Principal Certified Lotus Professional (PCLP) in Systems Administration and he is a Certified Senior Consulting I/T Architect. In addition, John is an avid airplane pilot who holds a commercial pilot's license with glider rating.

Michael Laskey is a Senior Software Engineer for IBM Global Services in Tampa, Florida. Mike has over 25 years experience as a software developer and architect and is currently responsible for requirement analysis, architecture, design, and development of e-Commerce solutions for IBM EDI service offerings and specific customer projects. These solutions involve a wide range of Internet- related product software, technologies, and development tools. Michael has authored several technical articles on Domino and WebSphere integration and is a co-author of the first edition of the IBM Redbook, Domino and WebSphere Together . Michael enjoys time with his wife and daughter , exploring west Florida by kayak, golf, tennis, and tutoring mathematics.

Gopal Indurkhya is currently a Certified Consulting I/T Architect for IBM in Charlotte, North Carolina. He manages development and develops solution architectures for organizations to assist them in meeting their business requirements. Gopal holds M.S. degrees from IIT, Kanpur, India, and the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He has published several technical papers in leading journals and has co-authored an IBM Redbook, "Servlet/JSP/EJB design and Implementation Guide for WebSphere Application Server." He also teaches and assisted in developing IBM's "Architectural Thinking" class.
