C.8 jSAML

Netegrity's jSAML is a developer toolkit to illustrate Single Sign-on with business partners using Security Access Markup Language (SAML). It has not been updated with the recent Liberty specification.

C.8.1 Windows Platform

jSAML-toolkit-1.0.zip can be downloaded from http://www.netegrity.com/products/index.cfm?leveltwo=JSAML&levelthree=download . Extract all files into a temporary directory.

Copy the files jSAML.jar (from jSAML toolkit) and the xss4j.jar file (from XSS4J) into %JWSDP_HOME%\common\lib .

To install the demo program for the Case Study in this book, you need to unzip and copy all files into %JWSDP_HOME%\webapps .

C.8.2 Unix Platform

The installation procedure is similar to that of the Windows version. Download the Axis distribution and extract to your target location. Similar to the Windows version installation, you can extract the Axis distribution to your target location and move the webapps subdirectory to JWSDP's webapps (for example, /opt/jwsdp/webapps/axis ).
