This manufacturing step consists of the following substeps:
1.
Connect the module or the die (if the module was not produced) to the tag antenna on a substrate.
This step is performed rapidly and automatically using special equipment (for example, robotic hands). The resulting assembly is called an inlet or an inlay.
2.
Test.
In this step, the inlet is tested in a contactless manner. Unsuccessful inlets are discarded.
This stage produces a fully functional tag that is in a nonusable form.
