Conclusion

In this chapter, you learned how to customize SRF files. You saw how its possible to extend and modify the stencil syntax to handle custom tags. You also saw how its possible to modify the extensions that are accepted by the ATL Server framework for .srf files and .dll files. Familiarity with these techniques can help you overcome obstacles you may encounter due to limitations in the default framework support.

In this chapter you took a close look at some of the advanced features that the SRF model provides. In the next chapter youll take a similar look at request handlers. In particular youll examine the classes that ATL Server provides and how you can extend them to customize your request handlers to handle any task.
