In this chapter, you learned about the different technologies used to access networks remotely. You learned about the different connection methods—like ISDN, FDDI, ATM, dial-up, xDSL, and T1—as well as the different protocols that are used (including PPP, PPTP, and RAS). You also learned about the proper way to configure a workstation using DUN to connect to various types of networks.
