Chapter 13: Building a More Advanced User Interface
Overview
Some forms of information can be more efficiently processed in a graphical fashion than by other means. In addition, many GUI (Graphical User Interface) elements can be manipulated via a mouse, eliminating the need for advanced typing skills. This chapter discusses the AWT (Abstract Windowing Toolkit), and explains how to create GUIs in Java by using JFC (Java Foundation Classes).
