Summary
This chapter presented a few simple examples of how Java programs integrate with SAP. These examples will be especially useful after you learn about the various RFC and BAPI calls within SAP, because you can plug in new calls with little other modification. The next few chapters cover the basics of object-oriented programming and the Java language. Later chapters get into more detail on the various calls that are available within SAP, the use of BAPIs, and the classes that are available through the Java RFC toolkit.
