horizontal page break
A page division that divides pages between rows. When Excel divides a long, wide worksheet into pages, it uses both horizontal and vertical page breaks. Excel prints all pages from top to bottom that are to the left of the vertical page break, and then it moves to the right of the vertical page break and prints all those pages from top to bottom. Excel continues in this way until the entire worksheet is printed.
