Chapter 7. ebXML and Similar Web Services Specifications

With the growth of electronic business, a number of initiatives have started that offer some of the same features as ebXML. Chapter 5, "The Road Toward ebXML," discusses the groundbreaking work of RosettaNet and the XML/edi Group that provided some of the important ideas for the development of ebXML. This chapter discusses other ongoing specifications and services for e-business messaging, discovery, integration, and interoperability that are especially relevant to the way ebXML content will be delivered and orchestrated:
