Vandana Datye

Vandana Datye is a freelance programmer/writer who has been programming with the .NET Framework and ASP.NET since the early, pre-beta days of the .NET Framework. She has written documentation and coded samples for MSDN about authoring server controls and other areas relevant to component programming.

Vandana holds a Ph.D. in physics from Carnegie-Mellon University. Before making a transition to the world of commercial software, she did research involving scientific computation and mathematical modeling at several major universities. She has research publications in pure and applied physics and in environmental science. Vandana lives in Redmond, WA with her husband and daughter . In her spare time, she enjoys day hiking and traveling with her family.
