A picture tube is really a drawing or series of drawings that is created and saved in a special format. The images are created on a transparent background so that all you see is the image. The easiest way to view picture tubes is with the Paint Shop Pro browser.
By default, the picture tubes that are supplied with Paint Shop Pro are located in the Picture Tubes folder where you installed the Paint Shop Pro program. Typically, this would be C:\PROGRAM FILES\JASC SOFTWARE INC\PAINT SHOP PRO 8\PICTURE TUBES. Tubes that you create or import are typically stored in a folder under your My Documents folder, such as C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ YOUR NAME \MY DOCUMENTS\MY PSP8 FILES\PICTURE TUBES.
NOTE
You can specify additional file locations under File, Preferences, File Locations.
NOTE
Don't double-click on the tube images unless you intend to open them for modification or for exporting.
