Naming Layers

As you add more layers, you might want to more easily identify what each layer represents. Use the Layer Name feature to clearly name each layer. Background layers are already named, so you cannot rename them.

NOTE

Optionally, choose Properties from the Layers menu to open the Layer Properties dialog box.
