Replacing Colors

Paint Shop Pro includes a Color Replacer tool that uses the color swatches to replace one color in an image with a new color. You can use either the foreground/stroke color or background/fill color. You can paint with the brush strokes to replace only those areas the brush touches, or you can double-click the image to replace the color throughout.

NOTE

Use the Dropper tool to select the color you don't want.

NOTE

It's okay if the mouse pointer goes over another color. It will only replace pixels with the background color.

NOTE

To restrict the color replacing to a specific area, make a selection before you use the Color Replacer.
