Clearing the Screen

When you are practicing your drawing techniques, you might decide that it would be easier to start over. You can close the current file without saving it and set up a new file, but there is an easier way. Paint Shop Pro includes a Clear feature that clears the current screen. Actually, it clears the current layer, but you'll learn more about layers in Chapter 9, "Developing Layers ."

NOTE

If there is any part of the image you want to save, you should save it before you choose Edit, Clear. No warning is displayed prior to clearing the image.
