Deleting a Chart

If you no longer want the chart created from your worksheet, you can delete it. The method you'll use to delete the chart depends on whether the chart is on the same sheet as the data or on a separate sheet.

Removing a Chart from a Data Sheet

If the chart is on the same sheet as the data, you'll delete it with the Delete key.

Deleting a Chart on Its Own Sheet

If the chart is on a separate sheet, you'll need to delete the entire sheet to delete the chart.

Note that deleting a chart sheet does not delete any data from the originating worksheet.
