You can edit your data in a variety of ways. You might need to change the contents of a cell or you might want to move the data to a different area of the worksheet.

Replacing the Contents of a Cell

You can make changes to the contents of a cell in two ways. One method is by typing over the existing cell contents.

Editing the Contents of a Cell

The other method in which you can make changes to the contents of a cell is to use the Edit feature.

You can also press the F2 key to edit the contents of a cell.

Clearing Cell Contents

If you enter data into a cell then later decide you do not want the information in the worksheet, you can quickly clear the contents.
