When multiple people edit a workbook it can be difficult to determine which person made which changes to the workbook. Excel includes a feature which helps you determine who made changes. Excel calls these Revision marks.
Similar to the Comments feature, Excel tracks the users by the name assigned in the Options dialog box.
Before Excel can activate revision tracking, the workbook must be saved.
Besides displaying the user's name, Excel also shows each user 's changes with a different color .
Excel provides the option of reviewing all the tracked revisions and accepting or rejecting the changes as a group or individually.
You can select which changes to review or review changes made by a specific person, or even changes made since a specified date.
You must accept or reject a change before you can advance to the next change.
When all changes have been reviewed, the Accept or Reject Changes dialog box will close.
You can easily turn off the display of revision marks.
