About the Authors

Rohit Kochar holds a bachelor of engineering (electronics and telecommunication) and an MBA (finance and marketing). He has worked in the information technology industry for eight years and has a wide range of experience in the field of programming and database design. Rohit is currently leading Web Folks, a company that is involved in developing Web-based solutions using the latest technologies. His role mainly involves developing the architecture for the software solutions developed by Web Folks. Rohit has also been actively involved as a subject matter expert in various NIIT projects related to Internet technologies and databases. In addition, he has been working as a consultant for developing courses in .NET technology.

Parag Rastogi has an engineering MBA from BITS, Pilani, and XLRI, Jamshedpur. He has wide experience in consulting and management of large projects and has trained with and worked for organizations such as National Informatics Centre, Tata Infotech Ltd., ITC Infotech, and Kurt Salmon Associates Consultants. Parag is currently employed at a consulting firm and working for implementation of projects in retail, healthcare, and distribution businesses. He co-authored a book on data-mining solutions for biological and medical databases.
