This chapter discussed the case study of SellingOnTheWeb, whose Marketing department was facing problems while trying to capture more of the e-commerce market. The sales data was available but wasn't being used properly. The team of executives from the Marketing department suggested developing an analysis tool capable of displaying sales data in a chart format. The tool should also provide e-mail integration features to enable e-campaigns and enable the team to read e-mail received from the customers. ColdFusion MX provides tags to display charts and to interact with SMTP and POP servers to send and receive e-mail. This will be discussed in detail in the next chapter.
