Networking on the MIDP platform is based on a generalized connection framework. The only protocol mandated by the MIDP specification is HTTP. You can perform GET, HEAD, or POST requests with just a few lines of code. HTTP session handling is also feasible. If the implementation supports it, you can also make datagram connections.
