See How You Can Make Camera Raw Fly!
© ISTOCKPHOTO/MAARTEN WAGEMANS I'm going to start here by doing something that is not done anywhere else in this book. Yep, I'm being rebellious. I'm breaking the mold. I'm rocking the boat. I'm...okay, you get the point. Now that I've built all of this suspense, what could I possibly be talking about? Well, I'm going to give you a tip right here in the chapter introduction. The tip is, if you don't shoot in RAW format, then don't read this chapter. It will not help you. In fact it may even hurt you. Okay, it won't really hurt you, but don't read it because it doesn't affect you. Now, if you're reading on then you'll probably relate to the fact that we've all heard a photographer here or there talk about the time involved in processing files in Camera Raw. Well, that has all changed in CS2. Adobe included a bunch of new features that dramatically speed up the work that you do in Camera Raw. I mean it. If you shoot in RAW or are thinking about it, then this chapter will save you time. |
