Scoring


The scoring for this questionnaire is divided into six groups: Planning, Teamwork and Interpersonal, Communications, Decision-making and Problem-solving, Trust and Interdependence, and Team Performance. The scores for these groupings will provide some initial insight into the team aspects of project leadership and are to be used as a guide for further analysis and evaluation.

Planning

This grouping of questions relates to the aspects of team leadership related to project planning.

Score questions 1, 28, and 32 on the scale below:

1 = strongly disagree 2 = disagree 3 = neither disagree or agree 4 = agree 5 = strongly agree

Score question 4 on the scale below:

5 = strongly disagree 4 = disagree 3 = neither disagree or agree 2 = agree 1 = strongly agree

Add the individual scores for these questions and divide the total score for this group by 4.

Teamwork and Interpersonal

This grouping of questions relates to the aspects of leadership associated with teamwork and team interpersonal aspects.

Score questions 2, 3, 9, 16, 27, 30, 35, 37, 38, 41, and 44 on the scale below:

1 = strongly disagree 2 = disagree 3 = neither disagree or agree 4 = agree 5 = strongly agree

Score questions 6, 23, 36, and 45 on the scale below:

5 = strongly disagree 4 = disagree 3 = neither disagree or agree 2 = agree 1 = strongly agree

Add the individual scores for these questions and divide the total score for this group by 15.

Communications

This grouping of questions relates to communications within organizations, with stakeholders, and between senior management and the project teams.

Score questions 8, 18, 24, 31, 40, and 49 on the scale below:

1 = strongly disagree 2 = disagree 3 = neither disagree or agree 4 = agree 5 = strongly agree

Score questions 5 and 25 on the scale below:

5 = strongly disagree 4 = disagree 3 = neither disagree or agree 2 = agree 1 = strongly agree

Add the individual scores for these questions and divide the total score for this group by 8.

Decision-making and Problem-solving

This grouping of questions relates to decision making and problem solving in the organization and senior management's willingness to allow leaders and teams to be involved in these processes.

Score questions 10 and 11 on the scale below:

Score question 42 on the scale below:

Trust and Interdependence

This grouping of questions relates to trust and interdependence within project teams, within the organization, and between project teams and stakeholders.

Score questions 12, 13, 14, 15, 29, 33, 47, and 50 on the scale below:

Score question 34 on the scale below:

Team Performance

This grouping of questions relates to team performance.

Score questions 7, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 39, and 46 on the scale below:

Score questions 43 and 48 on the scale below:
