This chapter showed you nearly all the ways to get data in and out of Flash short of outside tools such as application servers. To summarize, here are the main skills you have now:
Saving any data you want and reading it back from local shared objects
Triggering events in other Flash apps through a local connection instance
Reading and writing flat data with the LoadVars object
Reading and writing structured data with the XML object
