Macro Viruses | 5.1 Microsoft Office Version Numbers Each application in Microsoft Office has a version number associated with it. This becomes important if you are editing the registry or referring to a technical document that refers to the version number and not its common name . For example, Word 95 is also known as Word 7.0. Table 5-1 lists the different version numbers. Table 5-1.
