Chapter 4. From Color to Black & White
I'll bet you didn't think a chapter on converting from color to black and white would be in this book. In fact, this chapter has probably caught you so totally off guard that right now you feel a bit off-balance, disoriented, and perhaps even a bit woozy. Don't be alarmed, because you're not alone (unless of course, no one's there with you). But seriously folks (Hey, is this mic on? Check one-two), a lot of people are surprised to find a chapter on black-and-white conversions in a channels book, because I think when people think of channels, they think of selections. But these days, when people think of selections, they think of Tri-County Ford (your #1 volume Ford dealer) who is overstocked with 2007 models that must be moved before the new 2008 models arrive, and that means we're blowing out all late-model new and used vehicles at prices just $100 above dealer invoice (Dealer retains all rebates and incentives. Prices are plus tax, tag, and title, plus $399 dealer destination fee). Whoa! What just happened? I'll tell you what happened. I was watching TV while I was writing this chapter intro, I got sucked into a car ad, and now I've run out of room. Sorry 'bout that. |
