GarageBand 2: ADDING REVERB TO YOUR ENTIRE SONG AT ONCE

You probably know by now that you can add reverb or an echo (along with a host of built-in effects) to any instrument track by double-clicking on the instrument's name in the Tracks column and then moving either the Reverb or Echo sliders to the right in the Details section of the resulting dialog. But what might have slipped by ya is that you can apply reverb (or echo, or effects in general) to your entire song, rather than instrument by instrument. Here's how: Double-click on any instrument, and when the Track Info dialog appears, click on the Master Track tab. Now click on the Edit icon to the right of Echo or Reverb and move the sliders to the right in the resulting dialog(s) (or click-and-hold on the word "Manual" and choose the effect you want from the pop-up menu). Close the dialog and you're set.
