iPhoto lets you adjust a variety of aspects of your image, from tonal adjustments to removing red eye, using iPhoto's built-in image editor. However, if you prefer to edit your images in another application (such as Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements), you can configure iPhoto to launch the editing application of your choice when you double-click on the image inside iPhoto. You do this by pressing Command, (Comma key) to bring up iPhoto's Preferences. In the dialog, click on the General icon, and where it says Double-click Photo, click on the Opens Photo In button, navigate to the application you want to designate as your editing app, and then click OK. Now when you double-click a photo, your photo will open in your designated image-editing application. |
