Stickies: FROM STICKY TO TEXTEDIT IN ONE CLICK

If you get carried away in a Sticky and you wind up writing more than you expected, you can instantly convert your Sticky note into a TextEdit document by selecting all your text and then going under the Stickies menu, under Services, under TextEdit, and choosing New Window Containing Selection. This will immediately launch TextEdit and open a new document with the contents of your Sticky within it. You can now save your file in TextEdit format and use all of TextEdit's features as if your file had been created in TextEdit to begin with.
