IMPORTING YOUR INTERNET EXPLORER BOOKMARKS

If you've finally given up on Microsoft Internet Explorer (which is a good idea since they've stopped developing it for the Mac), in Tiger you can easily import your Internet Explorer bookmarks (also called Favorites) right into Safari by going under Safari's File menu and choosing Import Bookmarks. Now navigate your way to your Internet Explorer folder by clicking on your Home folder, going to your Library, under Preferences, and choosing Explorer. Click on the Favorites .html file in the Explorer folder, and then click the Import button. The bookmarks will appear grouped in a folder in the Bookmarks dialog, and the name field will be highlighted, ready for you to name your new set.
