DON T LEAVE FULL SCREEN MODE TO ADJUST YOUR VIDEO

DON'T LEAVE FULL SCREEN MODE TO ADJUST YOUR VIDEO

If you're accustomed to using the QuickTime Player, you're probably used to leaving Full Screen mode any time you need to change the volume, rewind, fast forward, etc. But with Tiger (and QuickTime 7 Pro), you can now make those adjustments while you're still in Full Screen thanks to the onscreen controls that will appear if you just move your mouse. By default, this controller only stays visible for about 2 seconds after you stop moving your mouse, but you can make it hang around longer if you'd likejust go under the QuickTime menu and choose Preferences. When the dialog appears, click the Full Screen icon, and then from the Hide After menu, choose the amount of time you want the controller to stick around. If you want the controller to stay visible all the time, choose Never from the Hide After menu.
