MAKING WEB PHOTOS OPEN IN PHOTOSHOP

If you download any photos from the Web, chances are they're compressed JPEG files, and if you double-click on them, by default they open in Apple's Preview application. If, like me, you'd prefer that all JPEG images open in Adobe Photoshop, here's what do to: Download a photo from the Web, click on it, and press Command-I to bring up its Info dialog. Click the right-facing gray arrow to the left of the words "Open With" to expand this pane. From the Open With pop-up menu, look for Adobe Photoshop. If you don't see it, just choose Other, and then navigate to it. After you've chosen Photoshop, click the Change All button in the Open With pane. From now on, all JPEG photos will open in Photoshop rather than Preview. Cool, eh?
