REMOVING A WIDGET FROM DASHBOARD PERMANENTLY

If you downloaded a widget, and then decide that you want to get rid of it, you can remove it from Dashboard by going to your Home folder, and looking inside your Library folder. Inside that you'll find a folder named Widgets, which holds all the widgets you've downloaded (from Apple's site and elsewhere). To delete one of those widgets, just click on it and press Command-Delete to send it to the Trash. That's itit's gone, baby!
