SEPARATING THE RIFFRAFF IN YOUR TOOLBAR

I remember the first time I saw a separator bar in someone's toolbar. I thought, "This is the slickest person in the world," or maybe it was, "Gee, I wonder how he got that separator!" I can't remember which. Either way, they're handy and look cool. To get yours, just Command-Option-click on the little pill-shaped button in the top right of your title bar to bring up the Customize Toolbar dialog (or Control-click on any empty space in the toolbar and choose Customize Toolbar from the contextual menu). Then, in the collection of icons that appears in the dialog, just drag the Separator icon and drop it right where you want it in the toolbar.
